Grown in hilly slate soil with southwest / southern exposure. Hot and dry summer gave way to a dry, sunny September harvest.
Pale straw in color. Delicate nose shows notes of Green Apple, Bosc Pear and Honeysuckle, flavors which carry through to the palate. Medium, fresh finish with well-integrated acids.
Great for drinking on the patio on a summer’s evening, either by itself or paired with simple dishes such as fish, poultry or egg-based dishes (omelets, quiche, etc.). Great complement to brie and soft cheeses.
